- Free games and practice mode against the computer are available at all times, with no Balance required.

- Only use funds whose loss can be afforded without affecting basic needs or financial commitments.
- Set a time and amount limit for each session in advance, and stick to it.
- Do not try to recover losses by increasing the amount or the frequency of games.
- Take regular breaks, especially after several consecutive losses or when tired or under stress.
- Avoid playing under the influence of alcohol or other substances, or as a way of escaping personal problems.
Warning signs
- Playing for longer or with larger amounts than intended.
- Thinking repeatedly about games or about how to recover losses.
- Hiding the activity from family or friends, or not being truthful about it.
- Borrowing money or neglecting personal or work obligations in order to keep playing.
- Feeling anxious, irritable or uneasy when not playing. If any of these signs appear, it is advisable to stop and seek support.
Available tools
- Daily amount limit: the User may ask support to set a maximum daily amount for their Stake games. Once it is reached, no new stake games can be started until the following day.
- Self-exclusion: the User may ask support to exclude them from Stake games for a specific period or indefinitely. While it lasts, they cannot take part in them; free games, practice mode and withdrawals remain available.
- Requests to lower a limit or to start a self-exclusion are applied as quickly as possible. Requests to raise a limit or to lift a self-exclusion early may be subject to a waiting period.
- Account closure: can be done at any time from Settings, once the Balance has been withdrawn.
Protection of minors
- Registration is reserved for persons aged 18 or over, and the Platform may request proof of age at any time.
- Accounts belonging to minors are closed as soon as they are detected and any amounts deposited are refunded.
- Parents and guardians are advised to use parental control tools to prevent minors from accessing this type of service.

- If activity on the Platform becomes a cause for concern, it is advisable to talk to trusted people and to seek help from health professionals or organisations specialising in the prevention of addictive behaviour in the country of residence.
